Marsden Golf Club

Huddersfield · West Yorkshire · HD7 6NN

England

Marsden Golf Club occupies a parkland course in the hills above Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The 9-hole layout was designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1920, playing to a par of 36. MacKenzie's hand in the course's design lends it particular significance, given his reputation for creating strategic, thoughtfully routed holes across the UK and beyond. The upland setting on Mount Road gives the course distinctive character, with the terrain typical of the Pennine foothills.

At nine holes, Marsden offers a more compact layout than many traditional clubs, though it remains a full test in MacKenzie's capable hands. The parkland setting and vintage design make it a notable venue within the local golfing landscape.
