Lahinch Golf Club

Lahinch · County Clare · V95 HD00

Ireland

Lahinch Golf Club sits on the Clare coast in south-west Ireland, home to two contrasting links courses. The Old Course, opened in 1892 and designed by Tom Morris and Alister MacKenzie, plays to par 72 across 18 holes. It remains one of Ireland's most established seaside tests. The Castle Course followed in 1964, a John Harris design that plays to par 70 and offers a different challenge over the same length.

Both courses share the exposed, windswept character typical of Atlantic-facing links golf. The Old Course's pedigree reflects its century-plus history, while the Castle Course provides a complementary routing across similar terrain. The club sits within reach of the Cliffs of Moher and benefits from reliable turf conditions shaped by the coastal location. Golfers visiting the area will find Lahinch central to Clare's golf offerings.
