Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course

Alnwick · Northumberland · NE66 3XQ

England

Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course is an 18-hole links course in Northumberland, sited on the Northumberland coast near the village of Craster. The course plays to par 70 and occupies terrain shaped by the North Sea's influence, characteristic of the region's windswept links land. Like many courses along this stretch of England's northeast coast, it sits within sight of one of the area's most distinctive landmarks—the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle itself, a 14th-century fortification that dominates the headland.

The links setting provides the typical challenges of coastal golf: exposure to prevailing winds, firm turf, and strategic bunkering. The course draws both local players and visitors keen on authentic links golf away from the more crowded championship venues further south.
