Calcot Park Golf Club lies on Bath Road near Reading in Berkshire. Harry Colt designed the 18-hole course, which opened in 1930 and plays to par 70. Colt's work during this period established many of the design principles that became his hallmark, and the course reflects the considered routing and strategic bunkering he favoured. The layout has endured for nearly a century, testament to the durability of his original conception rather than wholesale alteration. The club sits within easy reach of Reading town centre, making it accessible to golfers across the wider Thames Valley region.

The course remains an active members' venue with a solid standing in the local golfing community. Colt's influence can be read in the course architecture, though like most clubs of this vintage, Calcot Park has undertaken maintenance and modest updates to keep the layout relevant.
